In 1978 I had a friend who told me about Dianetics. I didn’t believe a word my friend told me. I came into the Church of Scientology on my friend’s recommendation and took a Basic Course on simple Dianetic and Scientology techniques called “assists” (assists are simple procedures used to alleviate spiritual or physical distress.) A few days later my boyfriend at the time was in a near fatal accident. I went to visit him in the hospital and he was unconscious. I picked up his hand and it was cold and there was no pulse. There were no medical personnel in the vicinity so I administered an assist. Within 3 minutes his pulse returned and in another minute or so he regained consciousness. The first time I applied a Scientology process to another it literally revived the dead. I have been applying Scientology and Dianetics technology to myself and others ever since. I have personally witnessed it do everything from extroverting a shy child, eradicating the urge to take drugs on former addicts, to restoring, in full, the vision of a blind woman. In short -- it works!
