ello, my name is L. David White, and here is a little bit about myself:

     I’ve always been very inquisitive, very analytical and very technically inclined. I’ve come to be in a very technical field via a roundabout route. I started my college career as a modern language major, already fairly fluent in French and Spanish and beginning to study German. I never pursued my original intention to become a translator. But now, many years later, as a programmer and computer consultant, I find I am involved with various computer “languages” and “translations” between them. I’ve been married to the perfect wife for 18 years and have a 16 year old daughter and a 12 year old son.

     I got into Dianetics and Scientology 10 years ago. That technical/analytical inclination mentioned earlier had me looking for answers to explain - and to change some of the things I’d observed in life. A television ad for Dianetics made me curious enough to go to a book store and buy the book. And in it I found solid, common sense explanations for things I’d seen and wanted to change in my life.
