If you want to find out more about Dianetics and Scientology, the best way to do this is to read an L. Ron Hubbard book on the subject. I personally recommend you read Science of Survival.
This book really helped me with Understanding people and so knowing who would be a friend and whom I could rely on. And by the same token, being able to identify people it would be prudent to avoid. Life can be much fun with forward-looking companions, but it can be disastrous to get tangled up with self-destructive people. Science of Survival teaches you in the most fascinating way about people.
