I am half way through “The Student Hat", which teaches you how to study effectively, at an advanced Church of Scientology in Sydney, Australia. The learning process, whether at school or later in life has never been easy for me. Most of my early years were spent falling asleep at the back of the classroom, or just realizing things with the realization that I had no clue as to what I had just read. I could read a whole textbook and at the end have no more idea what it was about then before I started. But I never classified myself as stupid (I could read and do simple arithmetic before I went to school and have been an avid reader all my life.)

     Since doing this course I have come to realize why I spent so much time asleep and what to do to prevent it. Also why I could read something of a technical nature and not understand what I had read. The data I have learned here is so obvious and simple as to why some people are good students and why some are not so good and some are awful.

     There is an answer to each and every case. If you have any inclination to learning anything on any subject, this course is an absolute must as a gradient to learning.

     If you do not have the knowledge and education of how to study in order to duplicate the materials of what you are studying, how can you ever get to first base?
